Ritz Hotel

I should've trusted my instinct. The lobby's dim lighting made it feel creepy and unwelcoming. They lock the main door because there isn't a security guard, which made me feel the area wasn't safe. My room had no window or complimentary bottled water, and I couldn't sleep because the light kept turning on and off.

The location was easy to get to, but the night was really uncomfortable. At check-in they gave us an uncleaned room, so we had to return to the lobby and tell the attendant. In the replacement room, the pillowcases were dirty too. When I asked for new ones, the attendant changed them, and I saw that the pillows themselves were very dirty and covered in stains. There were mosquitoes everywhere, the AC was unbearably noisy, and the toilet wouldn't flush. We had no choice but to stay the night, but we didn't sleep or get any rest. I've stayed in cheap hotels before, and this was the worst.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is accessible, about 10 minutes from Global City Clark and 20 minutes from SM City Clark. Breakfast is included, but only until 9 in the morning. We were late, and I'm grateful the staff still accommodated us and served our food.

Ritz Hotel is kind and very budget friendly. I spent 4 days there and got a great Agoda deal that included breakfast. The staff were extremely nice, and when I moved rooms because of the low water pressure, it improved. The other issues stayed the same. The place clearly isn't new. The sheets, towels, rags, and curtains were generally okay, but the room didn't have that fully clean, fresh smell some hotels do. The fridge barely worked, there was no hot shower, some lights were out, and water pressure was very low in the first room. For the price, maybe 80% yes. You get what you pay for.
