Ate Liklik was a big help. Staying at the hostel felt local, with the market only a few corners away and Baclayon Church and Baluarte close enough to walk to. For a trip to Tagbilaran, you can wait by the market for a Jeep, UV Express, or Tuktuk.

I’d happily stay here again. It was quiet, the bed was decent, the price felt right, and the room felt like home. Some nice attractions are nearby, and as a traveler I really value the people I meet wherever I stay. The owner was genuinely helpful, explaining local sights, affordable ways to get to some islands, and where to find food. When my leg hurt badly, they even gave me some medicine. Thanks for making it feel like a home away from home.

For £12, this room was still £10 too expensive. The bathroom needs major work, the bedding and pillows are awful enough to burn, and outside noise comes straight through. Check the Agoda reviews instead of relying on Google.

Our host was so kind and shared useful tips, and we could rent scooters right at the hostel for a very reasonable price to explore the island. There’s also a lovely rooftop bar for hanging out at night, with breakfast available there in the morning. This was our favorite place to stay in the Philippines.

We spent a little over three months in one of Pamujo’s longer-term units and enjoyed both the stay and the Baclayon community. The manager was courteous, professional, friendly, and quick to respond. Our unit was clean and comfortable, and we always felt safe without any problems. Pamujo also has reliable internet and is convenient for the local market, just two blocks away.
