The staff in general, including the waiters and receptionists, were courteous and helpful, and the location put many places of interest nearby. We had lunch there twice and liked the food, though the breakfast buffet wasn’t especially exciting. There’s also a restaurant and bar just a few steps away that I think are owned by the same group, and both are good spots. I’d recommend the hotel and would stay again if we return to Bacolod.

Our family especially enjoyed the pools, including the still pool and the child-friendly wave pool, which goes up to 4 feet. The rooms at Acacia Hotel Bacolod were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Food was good overall, although the breakfast buffet didn’t have many choices. The location was handy too, with easy access from the jetty port and a mall nearby.

We had a spacious, quiet room, and the water pressure was strong. There’s a water station in the corridor, so refilling our flasks was easy. The hotel is close to SM and Gina’s, but not Lacson St., where most restaurants and cafes are. You can walk to Gina’s or take a tricycle. I’m not sure SM is somewhere you’d go on vacation for, though.

The aircon cooled the room well, and breakfast was very good. The rooms are great for the price, though the curtains were too small to cover the entire window.

It’s a great place to stay in Bacolod, with rooms that are consistently clean and comfortable. The port is close, so it’s easy to get around if you’re taking the ferry.
