RedDoorz Plus @ Diola Villamonte Bacolod

The room was really cramped and small, and the dirty bathroom was the first red flag. At the nightly price, I expected better. It didn't feel worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The linens and bathroom were dirty, and the faucet and shower had grease on them and were defective. At PHP 1,600 a night, this room isn't pleasant and costs too much. I definitely DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

For cleanliness and friendly staff, I'd give this place 10 out of 10.

The restaurant's meals are decent, but they're pricey ($$$), service doesn't start until 10A.M., and it closes at 8P.M. There's no elevator or handicap access, and you won't find vending machines or bottled water. Parking is free but severely limited. Wi-Fi is poor and unstable, with dead spots in some rooms. The rooms are average, with air-conditioning, warm showers, and cable TV, though the channel selection is poor. Check-in is average, there are no discounts even for online bookings, and the staff are okay but can sometimes have a poor attitude. I've stayed at the Red Door on Diola Street many times over the past 5 years because I come to Bacolod City often. At first I found it adequate at best, but over time I noticed these shortcomings. It's poorly located for Churches, Hospitals and Stores, and it's a bit pricey overall. I rate it 2 out of 5 stars 🌟 and now look for other places first.
