Sugarland Hotel

My wife and I were especially happy that our own wedding reception at Sugarland Hotel echoed her parents' reception there decades ago. It made the occasion feel even more meaningful. Our friends and guests, along with my side of the family, came from Manila, and it was their first time in Bacolod. The Sugarland Hotel staff helped them feel the spirit of the City of Smiles throughout the experience. We had a truly memorable hotel stay and reception, with exemplary service and event management. We're deeply grateful to the staff and management for the generous package and top-level service. It was a world-class experience worthy of awards. Wishing you continued success and blessings. Our room faced the street, so we could hear vehicles passing, and the cafe service could use improvement. The concierge team and their service were excellent, though, and the buffet breakfast had a good spread of soups, salads, breads, and main dishes. We arrived early and had the Spanish omelette for breakfast, which was excellent.

We stayed three nights for our first visit, and my family loved the clean, comfortable room. The food was delicious, especially the Sugarland pizza, which is a must-try. The staff were friendly everywhere, from the hallways to the breakfast area, and the manager was very accommodating when I spoke with her. At the front desk, everyone was helpful and handled our requests. One staff member, the white pretty lady, helped me from check-in through check-out and asked how my family and I had found the hotel. I appreciated that. It was a wonderful stay, and we'll definitely be back soon.

We went to Sugarland for breakfast as a family and felt very welcome. The staff gave us exceptional service. I ordered the American breakfast with eggs, garlic rice, and bacon, along with a cinnamon latte and hot chocolate. In my opinion, the drinks tasted the best. I'd highly recommend the restaurant.
