Batanes Casa Feliciano

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the food was really delicious. We ate there for lunch and dinner on most of our stay. It’s a comfortable, lovely place to stay when visiting Batanes, and having breakfast included with the lodging is a nice plus.

They cleaned the room every day, but didn’t notice the water leaking in the toilet and bath.

Casa Felicia I is very close to the airport. The service was good, and the food was great and delicious. They served more than enough for two people.

They were also understanding when Batanes weather disrupted travel plans. Breakfast each morning was hearty and local, good fuel for a day out. Casa Feliciano in Basco is a practical home base for exploring Batan Island. It’s on Barsana Street in central Basco, with convenience stores, local eateries, and cafés within walking distance. Naidi Hills, Basco Lighthouse, and Vayang Rolling Hills are an easy 15-19 minute walk or a quick drive away. Basco Airport (BSO) is less than a mile away, so there’s no long transfer after landing. The 12 air-conditioned rooms are simple, clean, and functional, with private showers, fresh towels, and complimentary toiletries. Hot water was stable, a plus after a windy day touring the cliffs. Room setups range from triple and quadruple rooms to larger family rooms that can sleep six or seven using double beds and twin bunks. There’s a shared living room and water dispenser for filling reusable bottles. A few things to plan for: the building has several floors and no elevator, so request a lower floor if you’re with older companions or have mobility concerns. Parking is limited to motorcycles. Housekeeping is by request, so let the front desk know when you want the room refreshed. It’s good value. This isn’t a luxury resort, but it has what travelers need: air conditioning, cleanliness, a central location, and warm staff who treat you like family. I’d recommend it for groups, families, and independent travelers looking for an easy island stay.
