Midtown Inn - Batanes

On January 1st, Midtown Inn was the only place we could find open for dinner. The Tinolang Manok was superb, and just right for the cold weather. The Ramen was great too. 👌👌👌

Our room was roomy and spotless, and the staff were friendly and easy to deal with. The island tour they arranged was reasonably priced, and breakfast and lunch came with the tour accommodation. We also had strong, dependable WiFi. Midtown deserves more positive reviews.

I tried their Pawpaw Silog and wasn’t expecting that big fish bone to be so crunchy. That was the best part, and it was amazing! The fish itself didn’t taste overly fishy either.

We booked through Philippine Airline's (PAL) Swingaround flight and hotel promo, which included this inn. It’s only a few minutes from the airport, and the transfers to and from the inn were included. Breakfast was a full set meal each day, usually at 5:00am, though you could ask for another time by letting them know in advance. We stayed in a Standard Triple room. The bathroom was small and the sink was in an odd spot, but we had what we needed: a small bar of soap, water glasses, a large bath towel, and small face towels. We all liked the bed, fluffy pillows, and thick comforters. Don’t miss the sunrise from the rooftop.
