Happiness Hostel Boracay

The staff are what made Happiness Hostel for me. Wherever I turned, someone was there with a smile and a hello, and Jack and Nathan kept inviting people to things without any pressure. Thanks to them, there was always something going on. They really are the perfect island hosts. The cafe, bar, and restaurant stood out too. Edgar and Raffa were attentive and ready to help. The pool was great, clean, and had plenty of room to relax or hang out. From what I saw of other hostels, this one seemed the best. I stayed eight days. The rooms and, especially for me, the bathrooms looked like the pictures. The bed walls could use fresh paint, though Janice did an awesome, immaculate job cleaning. The hot water and pressure were a bit fussy at first, then worked well once I figured them out. The place hits a nice balance between a party hostel and budget accommodation, and you're only steps from turquoise water. Can't wait to return!

We went to their weekly “happiness hop” with my partner, though I didn't stay at the hostel. I'm writing this late, but Nathan and Jake were great hosts. Jake in particular brought a ton of energy and made the night really fun. If you want a good time, I'd recommend it, especially if Jake is hosting. He's crazy in the best way. Thank you!

They run activities here, so it's easy to meet people, and the food, bar, pool, and yoga options were all great. The service was really nice too. Rooms have four people max, with a comfortable place to sleep. Each person gets a key for their locker, and the four-person room has its own toilet and shower. If you're boring and just want to hide in your room, this probably isn't for you. :P

It's just a short walk from the station, which made getting around easy. The staff were warm and welcoming, always smiling and making sure people were comfortable. That kind of hospitality really stood out. I didn't expect a budget hostel to look this good. It felt stylish, and I took tons of photos because every corner seemed Instagram-worthy. The name “Happiness” fits the good vibes and homey feel. For service, atmosphere, and comfort, I'd give it a solid 5/5. I'd absolutely stay again.
