The breakfast spread was a highlight, with Filipino dishes like ampalaya, corned beef, tapa and ube champorado alongside American favorites such as French toast, pancakes, ham and waffles. The beach view from the buffet was breathtaking. We also appreciated the activity and tour price list at check-in. We’d booked some outings on Klook already, but used the list to arrange a same-day land tour at the last minute. Our room opened straight onto the pool, and the beach and a restaurant were right in front of us. Staff were always kind when we asked for directions or suggestions. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and the customer service has been excellent. Lounge access was worth having, and I loved that Hennan guests can use the lounge and preboarding area in Caticlan. Getting to and from the island was extremely efficient. Breakfast is good, though the daily rush makes it hectic. The property could use some general maintenance, but it’s still serviceable.

The rooms were clean, and we couldn’t hear noise from the neighboring rooms or hallways. My wife and I spent four days here, and we both had a splendid stay. From reception to the restaurant staff, everyone made us feel well looked after. We’ll definitely come back.

France, the hotel chauffeur, drove us to the hospital when my daughter had an emergency, and the nurse and rest of the staff helped her too. I’m grateful to them all. It’s a shame France wasn’t on duty when we checked out, but I hope he received our tip as thanks. Despite a short stay, we were happy and would return to this hotel brand. I’d recommend it. The hotel is right in the middle of Station 2, with the beach just outside and shops and cafes a short walk away. There are plenty of places to eat, and fire dances take place at different spots along the stretch. It’s a lively, busy area, so it won’t suit anyone wanting a quiet holiday. Getting back to our room felt like navigating a labyrinth, though we got used to it. Check-in was a bit of a pain with our large group. Our deluxe king room was changed to a premier room with a double and a single bed. That didn’t work for couples wanting a king, and we weren’t told why. I guess the change was meant to put us closer to the beach, but it would have been nice to have the reason explained. Still, it was a small hiccup and not something I’d fault the hotel for. The rooms are dated but reasonably clean, and the bed was comfortable with white sheets. Our premier room had a balcony overlooking the pool, and the resort had everything we needed.
