Lime Hotel Boracay

Everything else was good during our stay, but the arrival and breakfast information need attention. We got there early after a long flight, and the male receptionist, Athan, seemed grumpy. I didn’t like the way he welcomed us. Agoda said breakfast food was free, so we were shocked to find out we had to pay for the kids. That wasn’t stated on Agoda. Please improve how the reception team welcomes guests and give us clear, proper information.

Rm.707 had some noise in the middle of the night, like furniture being moved. That was the only minor downside. The interior design is really cool, and the location in station 2 puts you in the middle of everything. We got a warm welcome too, with a cold face towel and a glass of juice on arrival. Excellent service.

The staff were all kind and helpful, and the hotel is well decorated and comfortable. If I found it at a sale rate, I might come back. At the price I paid, though, I can’t recommend it, since there are better options. Several parts of my room were broken or falling apart, and it was very loud beside the main road. Gaps around broken windows and doors let the noise straight in. The internet was very slow, Wi-Fi barely reached most of the room, and I couldn’t get a signal by the pool either. The shower tiles weren’t angled properly, so water leaked out instead of draining. Getting to the lobby on the third level was tiring when I had to make the climb several times a day. It’s a decent domestic-level hotel, and the design is pleasant if you wake early and don’t need fast internet, but maintenance is lacking.

Some staff were genuinely kind and hardworking, which helped make our stay better. A male staff member who wasn’t the official porter went out of his way to help with our luggage, and the girl with glasses and another staff member who seemed new were warm, polite, and attentive. Still, Lime Boracay didn’t come close to the stay we’d had at Lime Palawan, and Lime Bohol ranked a little higher for us too. The property and gaps in service hold it back. Getting in was exhausting. Reception is on the third floor, with no elevator access before then, so guests have to carry luggage up several flights before checking in. There’s a porter around the third floor, but staff can’t see people arriving at ground level or starting up the first flight. With heavy bags, there’s no quick help unless you call out or struggle up yourself. The rooms are very small and feel cramped right away. Without a balcony, ours felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, uncomfortable in Boracay’s heat and humidity. There’s little room to move or organize luggage. When we called ahead, nobody mentioned that Lime Boracay has a transportation partner who could help with transfers, which would have been useful with Boracay’s travel logistics. We only heard about that from a woman at reception later. The receptionist on the phone was also rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, as if our questions were a nuisance. We’d had a seamless, comfortable and consistently excellent experience at Lime Palawan, so this felt like a lower-end version of the brand. Better access, room size and ventilation, phone communication, and guest support could bring Lime Boracay closer to the standard of the other Lime properties.
