The staff were really nice and weren’t at fault, but I hated this hotel. The room was noisy, especially from the old, cheap air con beside the Main Street, and sound also came through under the front door. The third-floor shower never had hot water because of a cheap heater and the water pressure, even after the hotel changed the unit. I complained every day. The toilet took over 5 minutes to refill, so flushing twice made the smell spread everywhere. A curtain was the only divider for the “blue rooms” washroom. The towels were tiny and worn, and I saw the storage, they were all the same. There was also an ant problem in the room. If these things were fixed, the hotel wouldn’t actually be bad. The problem is that they didn’t seem to care how guests felt or whether we could sleep.

The staff were highly friendly, and the room was generally clean and spacious, with a shared balcony. The shower pressure was hopelessly weak, so showering took twice as long, and toiletries were lacking, so bring your own. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. The route gets waterlogged, but it shouldn’t be an issue. There’s a 24-hour mart across from the place that sells everything you need. Pig out bistro is a good breakfast spot about a 5-minute walk away.

Getting there is easy, and they let us check in earlier than usual, which was handy. The staff were polite and accommodating, and the service was great. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the shower needs some attention: the head holder swivels around, and toiletries would be a nice addition. I’d stay here again.

The beach was only a two-minute walk away, and there were convenience stores nearby that stayed open around the clock. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our February 6-8, 2019 stay in the Blue Room, and for the price, I was fine without breakfast. The room was even more spacious than it looked in the photos. It came with two verandas, one facing the highway and one toward the neighborhood, plus a private bathroom with two shower heads, hot water, and a bidet. There was also cable TV and a comfy bed with four pillows. We loved it and would definitely come back.

I stayed for four days, and the room had a lovely ambiance. The beach was just a one-minute walk away, with a convenience store nearby, and it was easy to get to the things we needed. The staff were friendly. I wish they provided guests with a sanitary kit.
