Sir G Hotel Boracay

I’d still recommend it if you're not fussy and need budget friendly lodging within walking distance of Boracay Station 2. The staff are friendly, approachable, and easy to communicate with. It’s at D’Mall Palengke, a convenient 4-6 minute walk to Station 2 beach and close to market stalls, restaurants, and souvenir shops. The rooms are adequately sized, and the price is reasonable, somewhere between the cheapest and most expensive nearby options. Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM. The optional complimentary breakfast is Filipino food such as Longsilog and Tosilog, but there are no drinks, including coffee. You can ask for free water for cup noodles. Guests can use the kitchen for P150 for the gas stove and cookware, but you have to bring your own ingredients. We booked 3 rooms for a family of five for 4 days and 3 nights. Unfortunately, the rooms weren't cleaned during our stay, trash wasn't collected, and neither the bedding nor towels were changed. There's no Refrigerator. The TV cord isn't safely attached, though the Air-condition is strong. The toilet flush didn't work properly, so we had to use a bucket. The curtains didn't fit well and weren't soundproof, which affected privacy. The office is on the ground floor, with three floors above it, so the stairs may be challenging for elderly people or anyone with disabilities. The property is next to the market's garbage collection area, and there can be unpleasant odors in the evening. Rats can also be seen nearby. With no soundproofing, outside noise carries into the rooms and noise from the rooms carries out.

My stay was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel for future visits. Housekeeping didn't change the bed sheets daily, and I had to ask for fresh towels and garbage removal. There's no lift, which makes getting to the floors inconvenient, especially for guests with mobility issues.

Our room was already ready when we arrived, and booking was easy. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Dmall is right by the hotel, with the beach about five minutes away. There wasn't a kettle in the room, though, and the garbage collection area at the entrance was unpleasant.

There was no hot water, and breakfast wasn't provided.
