Sea Wind Resort

Our daughter especially loved the watermelon shakes from the beach bar, and the resort food was very good and reasonably priced. There was a good range, from Filipino classics to kid-friendly crispy fried chicken and burgers. We also had the Christmas dinner, which was phenomenal. Robinsons Supermarket is a few minutes away on foot, and there’s a pizza place across the road that serves very good pizza. Staff were helpful and kind throughout. We spent nine nights at Seawind Resort and found it a calm, relaxing place for families with small children. It’s right on the white sand beach near Willy's Rock. The fine sand and shallow water that stretches out a long way were great for our children to swim and play safely. The beach felt safe and wasn’t crowded, with plenty of room to sit or lie down. We never had to compete for a spot. The main pool is good, but our favorite for afternoon swims was across the road, where two pools among the trees give the feeling of swimming in a jungle creek. Seawind was a safe, peaceful, kid-friendly stay in Boracay, and I’d highly recommend it to other families.

The room was a little dated, and the air conditioner looked like a prop from Stranger Things. Wi-Fi in the room was weak and unreliable. Still, the staff were wonderful, and the location was perfect. The beach by the hotel had far fewer people than other parts of Station 1. It was great for swimming, building sand castles with my kid, watching people, and enjoying the sunset. The beach bar served some of the best kinilaw I’ve ever had, and they make a mean Long Island iced tea, both at a very reasonable price. For a quiet, family-friendly hotel in Station 1, I can’t recommend Seawind Boracay enough. Would I return? Yes, please.

The best thing here is the beachfront setting, with plenty of restaurants within a five-minute walk. The rooms are spacious, but ours had ants all over the bathroom, the pillows were so lumpy they felt like rocks, and the air conditioning was incredibly noisy, like an engine running in the room. Before the trip, I tried three times by email to arrange an airport transfer, then messaged on Agoda and WhatsApp, and even contacted them on Instagram. Nobody replied, which was extremely poor customer service. Once we arrived, though, the staff were attentive and good, so that was strange. If you have extra budget, I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

We spent just over a week here and had an amazing stay. The room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning that worked well. The service was really good too. Its location is perfect if you want to relax on a private beach bed by the white beach. We spent long days enjoying the weather, view, and service. Highly recommended.
