W Hostel Boracay

A relaxed place to meet other backpackers, with a chilled atmosphere. It's close to the beaches, D Mall, and lots of restaurants, and the rooftop pool is great for Boracay's hot days and nights. The staff were all smiling, very friendly, and happy to help with whatever you need. Amazing hostel!

The rooftop bar and pool made this a really fun hostel, and the location is convenient, close to D mall and about a five-minute walk from the beach. I docked a star because there's no hand soap in the bathrooms, so guests have to buy their own. It's cheap, but still concerning. Our AC kept breaking, too, and dripped water onto the floor all day.

We got a free Korean food dinner on the rooftop, and it was amazing. There's also a free light breakfast, which was enough, and the hostel offers lots of activities. The room was nice, though not cleaned very well. The shared shower and toilet were a bit dirty, and the staff were okay. It's a nice hostel in central Boracay.

I was here on Feb 18-19, 2018, and would recommend W Hostel to backpackers. The staff were accommodating, and my 4- Beds Air Conditioned room was neat and clean. I had an outlet beside my bed, and the black curtain around it was great since I can't sleep with the light on. The rooftop was okay, but there isn't much to see beyond neighboring rooftops because the hostel is in the middle of Boracay. The restroom was okay for cleanliness and water, but the lighting was poor, as it was in the quite dark hallway. The window had no curtain for extra privacy. When we entered the room, a staff member was inside. She looked as if she'd just woken up, and seemed shocked to see me there. I don't know why she went in without knocking. Staff should knock before entering when a guest is in the room.
