The surroundings are gorgeous and surprisingly untouched, and the staff were attentive, helpful, and enthusiastic. We took the boat trip to twin lakes, and our guides were lovely and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were tasty and reasonably priced, and airport pickup was easy to arrange. Marina is an incredible place to stay. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back one day.

The setting was the first thing we fell for: a small peninsula with wide open views, far from Coron town’s busy tourist scene. My wife and I spent four nights here on our honeymoon, and it became the highlight of our trip. The bright, comfortable rooms have little terraces where we could sit with a drink or a bite to eat. We were genuinely sorry to leave. Everyone made things easy, from the friendly, professional restaurant team to the helpful front desk staff who arranged our requests with a smile. Ravi, Mary Anne and Ronell were especially warm and welcoming, and patiently answered all our questions. We also took a half-day island and beach trip with Captain Christopher and hand Marc. They were great company, never rushed or pressured us, and made the outing feel relaxed. We’d happily return, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful stay. Thank you all so much!

The view from our upper-level room was lovely, and even the bathroom looked out over it. There were some ants, which seemed understandable given the natural setting and didn’t really bother me. I also tried a massage with a technique I hadn’t experienced before. It was different and interesting. The beach access is more like a dock than a sandy shore, and there were quite a few jellyfish in the water while I was there. On the other hand, renting a kayak was a highlight: you can paddle to a nearby hotel, and there’s a plane wreck to explore. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, and I’d say the paella is worth ordering. Marina del Sol Resort & Yacht Club was a relaxing, unusual place to stay. I’d come back when I get the chance.

After our Black Island tour, Ms. Rap showed us around the facility and shared some interesting details. We came in through the mooring area, then went up to the restaurant, where the bay and sunset were fantastic. The snacks they brought out felt more like a full meal, which was a great end to the day. The rooms are the best part of Marina del Sol for me. They all have a view, and the resort seems thoughtfully planned. You don’t have to worry much about which room you get, and you can enjoy it even if you don’t own a yacht.

We tried most of the menu during our seven days here, and the food was fresh and delicious. Some items weren’t available all the time, but it wasn’t a problem. The lobster was a real highlight, and the mango shake was a dream after a long day diving. Breakfast is à la carte, and the pancakes quickly became a favorite. The resort sits beautifully on the coast, with amazing sunset views and a handy location close to the ship wrecks, so we saved travel time when going diving. Our room was clean, well equipped and had a lovely view across the bay. The place itself feels beautiful and laid-back, and the staff were fantastic, whether arranging activities, preparing early breakfast packages or welcoming us in the restaurant with a morning smile. Thanks for making our time here so memorable!
