Ddd Habitat Pension House

This is an affordable option, especially for someone traveling alone or as a couple. My room was clean and had its own toilet, TV, and AC. Water pressure was weak in the bathroom, including the flush, though both still worked. Gaisano Mall is nearby, and there's also a bookstore and a clothing and shoe store inside the hostel. The WiFi barely reaches the room, so you'll need to use it by reception.

The location is right in front of a shopping mall, ukay shops, municipal hall, park, restaurants, and more. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we slept well. The place has a strong cultural theme, with decorations and furniture that teach guests about ethnic groups in the Philippines. There's a veranda-like area overlooking the city, fenced for safety, where you can get sunlight to dry clothes and soak up some vitamin D. Staff were friendly, polite, honest, and helpful. They even kept the things I left behind, which I promised to pick up on another visit.

My husband and I were traveling and stayed here for one night. The rate was just right, with no hidden charges. The staff and guard were nice and helpful, and there's parking in front of the building. The room felt cozy, especially with its soft bedding.

I booked through the OYO website, but it charged me twice and created two reservations. The hotel offered no solution, only saying to file a report and wait 10 days for one. By then I'd be far away. In short, they took my money. Be aware you may end up paying twice if you book here, and the listed price isn't honored.
