Mariposa Budget Hotel - Marikina

We come here for a little break to rest and recharge. The rooms aren't very big, but they're comfortable and cozy enough for a small family. They're clean, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and there's no unpleasant cigarette-butt smell, so it's safe to bring the kids.

I went on 11/30 and was really satisfied. I appreciated not being questioned like we were at Sogo in Cubao before: here I asked for the rates, paid, and got our room key card. The room was kind of small, but for around 800something for 6 hours and a bathtub, I can't complain. 10/10, I'd go again.

You have to buy toothpaste and a toothbrush outside because they don't provide them. The only stay options are 6 hours or 12 hours, with no 8 or 10 hour choice. The room is much smaller than Sogo hotel, so I'd choose Sogo instead.

It's a very basic hotel, with a small room and an adequate bathroom. There is hot water, though it's not very reliable. Room service is good, and food and drinks are paid for when they arrive at your room. It feels a little expensive for what you get, but the area is good for shopping and getting food you like. Since it's on the main highway from Antipolo to Cubao, buses and other transport are easy to get.
