Stradella Hotel

I was waiting outside in my parked car for my kid. The location on Felix Ave. is easy to reach from either direction.

A very good hotel, with polite, attentive staff.

The service and security were friendly, and the place itself is nice. The pool could be cleaned more often, for example after a party. My main reason for giving it three stars is the lack of proper blackout curtains. The sun comes up around 4 AM in the Philippines, and darkness really matters for getting a baby, infant, or toddler to sleep or nap faster. With that fixed, it could easily get four stars.

Don’t pay full price for a room here. I had the mid-level room for 4,000 php, booked at a discount, and still didn’t think it was worth the money. I requested a big bed, not two twins, but either my request wasn’t read or nobody bothered to fix it when I asked. I don’t know how old the hotel is, but parts of the shower controls fell apart while I was using them. The restroom had no bidet, and the toiletries they provided looked like cost-cutting. Breakfast was the most disappointing part: just a plate of food covered in saran wrap. I wouldn’t have minded as much if they hadn’t charged so much for it.
