The breakfast is delicious, and the place is neat. Elite people from the city come here to dine. I found the family room quite small, and its rate is a bit pricey.

The garden deck out back is my favorite part, with lots of plants, comfortable tables, and a peaceful feel. Inside, the air-conditioned seating is lovely too, with big windows looking onto the greenery. I only came to eat, and the food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Portions are small and prices a bit high, but the quality makes each bite worth enjoying. Service was excellent, with warm, patient, respectful staff who made us feel welcome. The café is in a beautifully renovated old house, blending its charm with modern comfort. A lovely place for coffee or a meal if you enjoy good food, attentive service, and a calm setting. Highly recommend.

September 2025: We stopped in for afternoon coffee and cake at this clean, cozy place with a little garden and parking. The caramel macchiato was lovely, but the carrot cake was the five-star treat. Customer service was nice, too. Great experience.

I booked four days ahead, but when we arrived I was furious and frustrated by how small all the rooms were. Our luggage wouldn’t fit. The family room had no cabinet for clothes, so we would have had to put our suitcases in the shower room. The other room had two beds but a toilet so tiny, like a broom cupboard, that I couldn’t see two people using it. I cancelled the booking that day and would rather pay the 4,000 pesos cancellation fee than stay. I don’t understand the 4.5-star rating; it’s overrated. Booking.com should check before listing it.

Cozy, charming, and relaxing, with a lovely dining area. The food is the standout: delicious, generous portions, and a good mix of Filipino and Western choices. The best hotel in Calapan, highly recommended.
