Food options nearby are limited, so pick up lunch, dinner, or breakfast before you get here. The closest Jollibee and other restaurants are a 6-7 km drive away. The place is easy to find for anyone on a long drive, right along the main AH26 highway.

After a long drive, I really appreciated having a hot shower that worked. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, including when we changed our breakfast order to take-out and needed it earlier than planned. Check-in was quick too. The place is right by AH26 highway, and we loved our stay. I’d recommend it.

The bathroom has a water heater, which was a plus, and the room also had a small TV and a mirror. The area was clean, but the room needs maintenance, with old floor tiles. The rate felt rather pricey.

It’s hard to find a really good coffee shop in the Philippines, but this is one. I had a good English breakfast here too. If you’re in the area and missing a decent breakfast and a good cup of coffee, this is the spot for Europeans and Americans.

I came for work and needed somewhere to stay overnight, so I’m not very fussy. This was the cheapest place I found around Calbayog. The water pressure was low and the toilet didn’t flush easily, but those seemed like small issues that could be fixed quickly. It’s about 2 km from the city proper, which suited me because my site visit was closer to Calbayog. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and I liked the outdoor space. I stay here whenever I come to Calbayog.
