The room was comfortable enough for a good rest after a long day, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Getting to coffee shops, convenience stores, and restaurants was easy too. The room and furniture feel dated, though, and the bathroom could use better cleaning and some maintenance. The shower pressure was very low, and I wasn’t a fan of having a urinal in the bathroom.

The hotel feels pretty basic and a little old, but the location is good, with a 7eleven right next to the building. There’s decent wifi, an elevator, and free water in the hallway. Our shower was a bit broken and the toilet didn’t flush well. We only booked two nights, so it wasn’t a big deal. Still grateful for the service and that a room was available.

We mainly needed a place to leave our luggage while my sister and I were out of town, and the reasonable rate made this no-frills hotel a good fit. We booked for more than three weeks. The room was okay, and the bathroom drain that wasn’t working when we checked in was fixed as soon as we told the front desk. August in Cebu was hot and humid, so we left the A/C running all day to have a cool room when we came back. There’s no air-conditioning in the hallway or at the front desk, but that was okay. The hotel seemed to be fully booked all the time. The front desk staff told me that stays over 15 days can get a 15% discount if you call to book. We missed out because we booked through Agoda. Salt, next to the front desk, isn’t currently managed or owned by the hotel, so ask the front desk if you need extra plates, cups, drinking glasses, or toiletries. The housekeeping staff member was friendly when we asked her to clean our room. I encouraged tipping, but it isn’t necessary. It’s conveniently located in the city near St. Patrick Square, 7-eleven, Robinsons Supermarket, and Redemptorist Church. Brown Cup is nearby and serves affordable breakfast and meals. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance too.

The rooms are big, the beds are nice, and there’s a free water cooler on every floor. It’s a decent pension house, though calling it a hotel feels like a stretch. The location and prices are good, but the food is so-so. Most of the staff are top notch, except for one snotty, officious front end manager. He’s the low point, and the reason for three stars instead of four.
