The view was nice, and the room on the third floor was decent with very effective AC. It’s also in a convenient location, but they only take cash. They make you leave your key when you go out, so they always know whether you’re there. There wasn’t a single chair in the room or on the balcony, and the sliding balcony door was broken. Staff clearly don’t care about basic maintenance like that. The room has a bed and AC, though. They weren’t very attentive when I approached them. Sometimes they seemed to be scrolling TikTok or Candy Crush and ignored me when I tried to make eye contact. They’d also start talking to each other in the middle of a discussion, rudely interrupting a guest’s question. The strangest part was that they’d keep eye contact with me while starting to talk to someone else. It was confusing, and it happened often enough to mention.

It’s in a central spot, within walking distance of the bay, affordable restaurants, and shops for necessities. Breakfast is available, too. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. The staff are approachable and local, so they know the places worth visiting.

We stayed for two nights in March 2026. The location was ideal, right in the center and just a five-minute walk from the port where the tour boats leave. Breakfast pancakes were good, the AC worked well, and friendly staff arranged a van to the airport for 250 pesos per person. For the price, it was good value. There were ants in our room on the first night, but staff dealt with them quickly. On the second night, there was a bad sewer smell in the toilet, and it was also present in the city streets, so we had to keep the bathroom door shut. All in all, a good stay for what we paid.

The rooftop breakfast comes with a nice view, and the pancakes are worth trying. The location is just perfect. Rooms are simple and basic, but have what you need. A very good hotel overall.
