You get a seaside spot right in the city center. We ate at the restaurant too, and the food was really tasty.

Godo’s was a great find along 501. We’d been looking for a reasonably priced restaurant with a nice view, and the seafood was delicious with the ocean right there. It took a bit of effort to locate, but there’s restaurant parking on the side road by the elevator, and the security guard can point you in the right direction. Five stars.

Handy spot for a stay, with a hot shower and 7 eleven close by. The beach is nearby too, where you can catch a boat to Malalison Island. I didn't try the restaurant since it was closed, though it has a good reputation.

We stayed two nights, and for the price I’d recommend renting a room here. Ours was clean, with lots of space for one queen bed, and the staff were helpful and willing to go out of their way. The food was excellent too. There wasn’t a refrigerator, but taking the local lifestyle into account, I’d rate the stay 4.9 out of 5.

We were an Italian couple riding through the Philippines by bike. The restaurant and service were very good, while the bedrooms were only average for cleanliness. It’s the only decent hotel in town. The place feels like the whole town is just this building, then there are huts.
