We ended up extending our stay because the staff made us feel so comfortable. They were kind, attentive, always reachable on WhatsApp, and glad to help with whatever we needed. The rooms were very clean, with housekeeping offered often. Being right by the sea was fantastic, especially from the rooms with big balconies overlooking the ocean. The pool was relaxing and well kept too. We had an excellent stay at cocobana Malapascua and hope to return soon.

The villa was spacious and had a pool, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. The lack of electricity until late at night made the room hot and stuffy, and I couldn’t really sleep before an early dive. They should at least provide a fan in every room. The generator kept restarting, and now our adaptors don’t work.

The staff were accommodating and gave us good suggestions for places to eat and island tours. There’s no Wi-Fi, but mobile data worked strongly across all networks. I had a relaxing, enjoyable stay, and the clean, spacious rooms had a working heater for hot showers. Cocobana has a pool and one of the island’s most beautiful beachfront areas, making it one of the nicest resorts on Malapascua Island. The beach view from the reception building is great, and it’d be nice to see its second floor turned into a bar or restaurant. Recommended for a comfortable beachfront stay.

The place is amazing and the staff are really accommodating. The only issue was the comfort room door, which was rusty and difficult to open.

Helpful staff, a comfy bed, and a large room with great AC. It’s right on the beach and close to Thresher Shark Divers.
