The room was super clean, probably the cleanest we saw on Malapascua Island. The staff were fantastic and helpful. I hurt my finger, and Ema looked after me by giving me a foot massage! Definitely recommend.

The dorm rooms were tidy and had good ventilation. Each had its own shower and CR, and everyone got a bath towel. Food is made to order, including silog and a few other dishes. There's free Wi-Fi and a range of places to relax or play: hammocks, tennis, billiards, and bikes. There are two bikes, but one wasn't in good shape. Montenova is in the middle of the island, quite far from the tourist spots. To reach the beach, nightlife, or other destinations, you'll need to catch a habal-habal or motorcycle, or walk and get some exercise. The hosts were accommodating and picked us up at the port, which helped because the resort can be hard to find. From the port it's nearly a 15-minute walk, or you can take a habal-habal or motorcycle.

A quirky spot in the middle of the island. It took us two days to work out the winding paths to and from it. The owner seems to keep internet and other services to a minimum to save money. Most of the room was clean, and the staff were friendly.

Even after the typhoon damaged the resort, it still had a beautiful atmosphere. It's a nice place if you're looking to be alone. I think it's worth visiting.

The typhoon left the resort ruined, but it’s still breathtaking. The view is so beautiful that being there feels worth it.
