The rooms were poorly maintained, with cracked walls and a mold-like stain on part of the ceiling in room 313. The air conditioning in rooms 312 and 313 was under the bed, so the rooms stayed hot because the air didn’t circulate. When I called for help, they offered an electric fan. I asked to move, but was told the only empty room was already reserved. It was around 9:30 p.m., so we stayed and turned around in bed, putting our feet where our heads would normally go. Then red ants started biting us during the night. You could actually see a line of them climbing up the bed. Please find somewhere else to spend your time and money.

The staff were accommodating and the room was okay, but there were several ants on the floor and walls. I stayed for more or less 12 hours, though people staying longer might not be able to tolerate them. The sanitary kit included a toothbrush, but it was just put in a box and wasn’t sealed.

The hotel has a cafe inside, and the location is good. The rooms are old but well maintained, and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. The Wi-Fi disconnected from time to time. There was no elevator during our stay, though they were in the process of installing one. Great place to stay!

The food was mediocre, and the WiFi was slow and time-limited. The amenities also felt cheap and lacking compared with other Bicol hotels at a similar price. The rooms are old and small, so it felt like a 2 star hotel at a 4 star price. I didn’t feel I was getting what I paid for, and it definitely didn’t deliver the “luxury” the price promised. I expected more for this price range. Maybe I’ll try other hotels next time.

The staff were polite and helpful, especially the hotel guard, who helped me park, hailed a tricycle, and pointed me toward where I wanted to go. My stay included free breakfast. The room was big, clean, and had complete room amenities. Restaurants are nearby, and the hotel has its own restaurant too. The Provincial Capitol and Church are on the same street, and the Public market is within walking distance. The best hotel stay I had in Daet.
