Isla Divina Inn by RedDoorz

I booked at the last minute while I was nearby. For 1200 pesos a night, I got a clean room with AC and a water heater beside the pool. I also rented one of their scooters for 400p and spent 6+ hours riding around bohol on scenic roads I found on gmaps. My wife loved the ride too, even if our butts didn’t!

The budget room was cheap, but it was bad. The mattress was thin and gave me back pain, so I couldn’t sleep well the whole time. When the water runs, it smells like sewage. Warning, the advertising is a lie: there’s no restaurant or bar. The owner wasn’t friendly at all. The only reason for my one star is the staff, who tried to make the best of a bad place. Never again. Thanks for nothing.

They abruptly cancelled my booking because they were overbooked, even though I’d booked this hotel a month before the trip. If you reserve a room here, I’d suggest checking with them every two days.

The room was dirty and full of ants. Breakfast was expensive, and after we sent all our clothes to the laundry, everything came back covered in bleach. All our clothes were ruined, and the owner didn’t seem to care at all. Fortunately, I hadn’t paid for the laundry or breakfast, so I left without paying. Avoid this hostel.
