Nora's Place Boutique Resort

The rooms were alright, and better than the ones in some other places we stayed. Nice pool and bar, and good service. My only issue was the hot water and water pressure, though that seems to happen at hotels all over the Phillipines. I'd recommend staying here.

As a solo traveler, I felt very welcome and safe here. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and I liked the pool and the pretty lights in the evening. People were lovely, and the food and location were good too. You can do laundry, rent a scooter, enjoy a meal, or have a drink. 🥰

Food was expensive, and they only gave us two towels at a time. The outside sink was clogged and water was all over the place. They said they'd offer a free pizza, but only pepperoni. I told the woman at reception I was Muslim, so that felt like a big insult. My son couldn't sleep because of all the noise from the pool at night. Lots of bugs and flies too. Definitely never coming back.

A very good place to stay, with a nearly complete room setup: two air cons, beds, and a TV, plus a gas stove, kettle, water heater, and full kitchen utensils. You can make your own food and save money. The bathroom has both hot and cold water. You can invite a friend, and recommend Nora's Place if they're vacationing in Panglao, Bohol.
