That bed was fantastic, with a great mattress and pillows, and I had my best night's sleep. The people were really nice, and the owner kindly dropped me at the pier while she was heading into town anyway. I had a good stay.
We were invited to a fiesta and got free food, which was lovely. The atmosphere was great, and I met so many nice people here. The rooms are nice, the staff are very friendly, and the food is excellent. I like it here, and for the money I'd give it a 1+.
It was quiet and relaxing when we visited the pool. Apart from their kid, my partner and I were the only ones there, and the P100 entrance fee each felt well worth it. There’s a kiddie pool and a larger one that’s about 5 feet deep throughout, plus a bar serving food and drinks. The owners welcomed us with Bingo cookie sandwiches and lava cake. They also waived the corkage since it was just the two of us, and we took our trash with us when we left. More than a great experience, and I only wish we could have stayed longer. I’d recommend it for a casual swim, a relaxing break, or time with friends.
A quiet, clean place with friendly staff. The owner is Danish/Filippino, and they even serve some Danish food. Wow.
The family who runs Ice Bear are wonderful, so kind and helpful. I stayed here during my last trip to the Philippines and came back again, this time for two weeks. The food is great, and the large standalone villas have a front porch and a couch inside. They have the best pool in Bohol, too. Even though I rented a house in Panglao, I'll keep coming to Ice Bear for the food, pool, and visits with the owners.
