Blue Lotus Hotel Davao

My room was comfortable, and the staff were courteous and excellent. The breakfast and restaurant were really nice, with a rooftop view. For the price, it's a very nice hotel. My room faced the street and was noisy all night, and the air conditioner made quite a bit of noise too. I'd bring earplugs.

The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of choices, especially the eggs, noodles, and coconut fish. I stayed in a Junior Suite with two Queen Beds. It would suit a family with small children, since it's spacious, quiet, comfortable, and delightful. On my own, I found it luxurious and loved relaxing there. All the staff were fantastic to talk with. Carol at reception was so helpful, and France at the swimming pool was great. Having the pool to enjoy under the night sky was a real treat. I think it's Davao's top hotel, and I'll recommend The Blue Lotus hotel to all the travellers I know. Fantastic work by everyone.

The room suited me perfectly during my stay from November 7-9, 2025. It was smaller than rooms I've seen in other four-star hotels, but I actually liked that. Food was okay and service was great. My only complaint was the traffic noise from the busy highway outside my room. The stay was very affordable, so I felt I got my money's worth.

The staff were fast, and most of them were the one good thing here, though not the ladies at reception. They only told me on arrival that there was no gym or pool. They put me in a room without asking whether it suited me. The Wi-Fi was slow, and the room smelled unpleasant. A bad stay.
