Tinhat Boutique Hotel and Restaurant

The staycation was satisfying overall. The room works for two, but the twin beds felt too small for someone big or tall like me. The curtains don't block all the light as advertised, though I still slept well even with the sun up. There was a noise from the bathroom pipeline that could disturb sleep. Turning off the main switch kept it quiet. The restaurant also takes a long time to bring food, so order ahead.

The renovated bathrooms, soft but firm beds, and nice furniture were all very good, and the place felt well worth the money. But a dog barked outside my windows all night, defeating the point of my stay, which was to sleep. There was also door slamming and pounding feet on the stairs. If they could get the noise under control, it'd be great.

It's one of the cheaper hotels right in Davao City proper, close to tourist areas and still fairly quiet. The standard rooms are roomier than most places in its class, and they're clean, though the hotel still needs quite a few improvements. There's no elevator. Staff are courteous, and Chinatown is within walking distance.

The food is delicious and Halaal, and the staff are awesome, friendly, and helpful. Our neighbors played loud, irritating music, and the rooms could be better. We'll visit again. Qur'an copies are available in the rooms ❣️❣️❣️.
