Nelda and her husband are really friendly hosts. The room is small but clean, and the bed is comfortable. We were right beside the kitchen, so there was some noise from morning until evening. The bathroom could use a diffuser. I'd recommend it if you just need somewhere to sleep.

The food was really good, and the whole place has a cozy, well cared for feel. Staff were as friendly and helpful as everyone says, and they had a solution for everything. It's a little outside El Nido center, but you can walk there in 10 minutes or take a tricycle. We had no trouble getting back and forth, even at high tide. The only minor issue was the loud aircon. We loved our stay at Bella Athena.

Our stay was short, but we made the most of it and had a blast. The owners took great care of us, sorting out our stay and transportation, as well as our itinerary and island hopping tour. Pablo also deserves a shout out for driving us around. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, and the spotless rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. We'll be back for a longer vacation and stay here again.

The beach is very close, and the location is peaceful while still within walking distance of the centre. The food was delicious and freshly made every day. Whatever we needed, the owners and staff made it happen and were extremely friendly and helpful. They even drove us to the airport at 4:30 a.m. for our early flight. Mr Bean, their lovely guard dog, made us smile every day. You can rent a motorcycle or arrange trips with them at a good, fair price compared with other places. Amazing stay and great value for money.
