El Nido Greenviews Beach Resort

For the price, the service wasn't good enough, and I wouldn't recommend this place. The bungalows were in pretty bad shape, our room wasn't cleaned every day, and it smelled damp. Our bathroom had a particularly strong smell, though our friends' bungalow didn't. They changed the towels and bed only every 2-3 days. Breakfast wasn't included and was quite bad. We had lunch there one day too, but they were out of many menu items and the food wasn't good at all. This so called resort was the worst I've ever stayed in.

The place is quiet and clean compared with El Nido city, with lovely lush plants and just a few steps to the beach. We enjoyed the singer each evening, and the staff were very pleasant. The restaurant was good, with a great view of the beach, and you can even have dinner right on the sand. A very nice place.

It was our worst night in the Philippines. We left after just one night, and really should have gone sooner. Our room was tiny, smelled awful, and had blood stains all over. The bathroom flooded when someone showered, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the roof leaked during the night, so we got wet when it rained. A friend had stayed three years ago and we arrived with high expectations, but there was a new owner who didn't seem to care about decent service. The bar service was terrible, with very few food or drink choices. Happy hour was a joke, and I hadn't had such an awful cocktail in ages. The special was pizza, but when I tried to order one at 6:30 PM, they were already out. As a vegetarian, I had few options and chose the cucumber salad, which was literally just cucumber. A few minors seemed to be running the place and didn't know how to manage a hotel or provide service. We booked a tour through them and kept getting ripped off with extra charges they hadn't mentioned. Maybe it's a cheap hotel, but I wouldn't go back even if I were paid.

A beautiful spot right on the beach, professionally managed. Nico and Rico run the island hopping tours A, B, C, and D, and they're the best tour guides in the Philippines. They know these waters like the back of their hand.
