It was easy to get into El Nido, either by walking or taking a tricycle, while still being far enough from town to stay quiet. The beach road to get there was a fun new experience for us. Staff were lovely, let us use their kitchen, and helped arrange everything. Once we'd gotten rid of our scooter, they even offered a free ride into town. The Wi-Fi worked decently in the room, and for the price, this was much better than the crappier options in El Nido town. We'll come back someday. PS: the adorable puppy was a bonus.

The breakfast was pretty good, the staff helpful, and the accommodation basic but very clean, with hot water and a small terrace. I don't think a roughly 10-minute walk to the center is a big deal, especially since you know about it if you do your research. The one drawback is that there's no Wi-Fi, even though it's advertised, but it didn't bother us much. I can't quite understand the negative reviews.

The room was clean, but there's no Wi-Fi. Still, the price for the quality is worth it in El Nido. It's not far from the center, and the tireless owner was very helpful.
