Mansion Buenavista

The balcony view from our third-floor room was breathtaking, and the room itself was clean and spacious. We got fresh towels every day, and the staff were friendly. The owner met us both when we arrived and when we left, and arranged everything so the transfers were stress-free. Breakfast was the best part, it was delicious, and we also had dinner at the accommodation. It’s conveniently placed for walking to the main beach, though you can also get there by tricycle. We’d happily stay again.

The way we were looked after made Mansion Buenavista feel like home. My boyfriend had a problem with his toe, and Noud, the owner, personally took him to a doctor and waited with him. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, always ready when we needed something. We’ve been to more than 80 countries and haven’t experienced this kind of family-like care before. We stayed in a clean, roomy sea-view room with a large balcony and all the necessities. Housekeeping came daily, changed the sheets and towels, refilled the refrigerator, and left everything organized. Laundry was handled carefully too, with our clothes ironed and returned fresh. There’s a restaurant, bar, and a lovely pool beside it. The food was delicious, and breakfast had at least 10 choices, from American food to Filipino dishes, included at no extra charge. Before the trip, I needed a letter confirming my stay for a Philippines tourist visa. I emailed Mansion Buenavista and Noud replied within seconds with the letter. They also arranged airport transport, including last-minute changes when our flight was delayed and the airport changed. The driver got us to the hotel safely. We arrived close to midnight after a 22-hour flight, but a polite gentleman was waiting and took us straight to our room without a long check-in. I’d recommend this place to anyone staying in El Nido. El Nido is beautiful already, and staying here made the trip even more memorable. Thanks for everything, Mansion Buenavista. We’ll be back with our families next time.

The Reggae Island Restobar is just a short walk away, and it was one of the most unique, visually stunning bars I’ve visited. Its atmosphere and design added to the stay. The hotel itself is in a lovely, peaceful spot, with a welcoming feel created by staff who were friendly and attentive. I’d gladly recommend it and stay here again.

Mansion Buenavista felt like a home, thanks to Nound and Jennifer making us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Mimi also helped us out with complimentary early check-in when we were worn out from an early flight. Our room was spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily by the lovely staff. We ate dinner at the hotel twice. The food was simple, homemade-style, and incredibly tasty. We tried butter shrimp, chicken adobo, whole fish, and pancit, all fantastic, and the spicy homemade sauce was just right for anyone who likes heat. Breakfast was great too. Jeniffer tried every day to find the one place that makes Lechon after we asked to try it. The hotel arranged Island Hopping Tour A and an inland tricycle day tour, so it was all easy and stress-free. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to El Nido’s main area and a 10-minute tricycle ride to Vanilla Beach. We spent one night at El Nido Beach Hotel as well, but much preferred the quieter, more peaceful setting here. A big thanks to Nound, Jennifer, Mimi, the rest of the staff, and Tommy and his aunty. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
