We had three days and two nights here, and the shared facilities never caused any hassle. There were plenty of toilets and showers for the tents, so we never had to wait. The tents were roomy, with two comfortable chairs, and the air conditioning really impressed us. We also enjoyed the restaurant, the massages, and having the well-equipped gym to ourselves each time. Laurel at reception was always helpful. Ms. Joni also helped us when a dog with a badly sore leg needed veterinary care. Sonny, who took care of the pool bar, was great too.

Laurel at reception made our change from another lodge feel easy from the start. He helped with the booking, check-in, check-out, and transfer, and Pj and Lau made everything simple too. We found a great same-day deal while spending time on Nacpan. The staff made us feel comfortable and at home, and that kind of care stays with you. My partner and I have traveled around the Philippines and abroad, and I wish staff everywhere treated guests this way. If you need anything, just ask, especially Laurel. They really go the extra mile and make the stay happier, even though this is a 2-star hotel with 5-star service. We ate at Sunmai for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was a bit pricier than nearby local vendors, but the convenience was worth it: staff were easy to reach, and towels and a restroom were right there when needed. You get what you pay for. Thank you, Laurel, Pj, and Lau. I looooove Nacpan Beach Glamping. One of my best stays, and truly magical.

The beach is huge and natural, and the pool was a welcome option when we wanted a break from the salty sea. We were also lucky to see baby turtles heading to the water. The hotel is in a turtle nesting area and has a conservation program; staff asked if we wanted to be woken up for it, and of course we said yes. Our tent was spacious and had great amenities, including a Dyson hair dryer. The shared shower and toilet were clean and didn’t bother us. We ate well at the restaurant too. Thanks to the whole team, especially Lauren (or Laurel, sorry..) at the front office, who was amazing.

The grounds were tidy and labeled like a botanical garden, with the plant names marked. Our one-night visit in January was quite nice: reception was organized, efficient, and helpful, and Laurel went above and beyond for us. At 6’5, I had plenty of room in the tent, which was about 10ft tall at the peak. The AC was cold and there were no bugs. It’s definitely not camping, though some people might call it that. My wife noticed a slight smell of strong cleaning products in the tent, but I didn’t notice it. The Dyson hair dryer was quite a flex, and maybe an unnecessary +$300 item for a tent, but my wife was impressed.

It was lovely having the restaurant nearby, and the water refill stations were a great touch. More variety would be welcome, though: the vegan dishes were basically the same meal prepared in different ways. The gym was more than sufficient, and the spa was lovely. Angeliqua gave a great massage. Some music in the spa would help cover the noise there. The pool was lovely too, though I wish it were bigger, since one or two families can make it feel cramped. The tents were well equipped despite showing plenty of wear, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was very welcome. Shared bathrooms were in good shape and always available. The staff were lovely, and the bell boys were strong carrying our belongings. A path through the sand from reception to the tents would make getting around easier for everyone. A unique stay in a relaxing setting. I’ll enjoy coming back.
