Bahandi Hotel

The hotel lived up to what we booked through Agoda. It feels light and welcoming, and the manager and staff were accommodating and quick to sort out what we needed. The bedrooms have high ceilings, and the place is quiet and relaxing, just one Tuktok ride from the busy part of General Luna. It’s centrally placed for getting to different parts of General Luna, including the Cloud 9 area on the other side. We missed our own van service, but Miss Veronica quickly came looking for us and saved the day. Breakfast was good too. I was too busy to write this sooner, but this place deserves a good review.

Bahandi was a good fit for traveling solo. It’s in a safe area, quieter than the main part of General Luna, with lots of restaurants within a five-minute walk. I enjoyed the pool, and it was easy to meet other travelers. I was invited to join two of them on an excursion the day after I arrived. The best part of my four nights there in January was the staff, especially Juju and Marlene. They were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful.

Veronica, the property manager, made the stay at Bahandi Hotel memorable. She greeted guests with a constant smile and went out of her way to get the details right. She made everyone feel at home and looked after, and the hotel wouldn’t be the same without her. The property is cute and well cared for, with nicely designed rooms that are great for relaxing. It can be a bit pricey if you’re traveling alone, but I thought the comfort and quality justified it. The location also makes it easy to get around Siargao. I’d recommend Bahandi Hotel for its hospitality and relaxed atmosphere.

We were there for four days and hope to make it back for a longer stay. Bahandi Hotel is on tourism road, so restaurants, bars, and other well-known places are easy to reach. The rooms are beautiful, and the free breakfasts were really good. They also offer airport transfers both ways, motorbike rentals, tour packages, and more. Service was top notch. Juju and Marlyn at reception deserve a special mention for looking after our requests and needs and anticipating what we might need.
