The breakfast was very good, with mostly Filipino dishes, and the staff were really nice and accommodating. It’s peaceful and good for unwinding, and the location is perfect if you’re into surfing. But the room smelled moldy, and the ocean view rooms look old and need improvement. The shower pressure was so weak it took forever, and the TV didn’t work. The AC was noisy, though at least it worked well. We stayed 3 days and didn’t get room service. The value for money just wasn’t there.

There’s beach access and a good location, with several activities within walking distance. The hotel offers free breakfast, and the staff were very nice and accommodating. If you’re interested in surfing, they can put you in touch with someone to rent boards or arrange a lesson.

Being right in front of cloud 9 was a real plus, since we could avoid paying the hefty 100 peso/1.8 USD entrance fee each day. The free breakfast and coffee were okay. We stayed in room 5, which felt a bit old, and the tables were moldy. The room itself smelled slightly moldy too. The CR was the worst part. The shower drain clogged after use and took hours to empty. It smelled bad, and while we waited, dirty black canal water started overflowing through the drain. Even with the CR door shut, the foul smell kept us from sleeping.

For the money, the place is good value and breakfast was good too. The rooms were decent for the price, and the service was good, although people didn’t smile much. Two things kept this from being five stars. The bathroom wasn’t okay: there was no mirror, the drain stank, and the water was salty instead of fresh. Also, they charged an astronomical amount for the airport transfer, more than twice what everyone else quoted us, with no reason. That’s no way to treat customers.

We only stayed one day of our booking because the room was dirty, smelled a bit, and had bedbugs. All of us got rashes during the stay. The water was saltwater, the breakfast was a bit burnt, and the portions were much too small. The staff didn’t seem very friendly and had a smug look. Don’t waste your time here.
