I was hoping for quiet nights, but people kept gathering in the courtyard and the noise carried easily into the room. On the first night, late talkers were still there at 3:00 am, so I asked to change rooms. They accommodated me and said night staff should have stopped gatherings after 10:00 pm. The next night, gatherings were still going past 3:30 am. I’m not a late-night person, and the noise was just poor etiquette. I also wanted a good IPA craft beer, but after smelling and tasting it, I passed. I suggested they have a professional clean and sanitize the draft lines regularly, since dirty lines can ruin even well-brewed beer.

We made this our base for the whole trip, and the location worked well for getting to all the popular spots. The service was great. Every Thursday there’s a party you can’t sleep through, but hey, that’s the Siargao way! 🍻💃🏻

I went back two days after lunch just to get another Cloud 9 Burger from Siargao Bed and Brewery, this time to take it with me on my flight back to Clark. It was that good. For under ₱400, you get a juicy cheeseburger with crispy fries, and it’s easily the best burger I’ve had in Siargao. Great value and a very pleasant surprise.

The poolside gathering on the second night was loud late into the evening. I called the front desk at 11:30 PM, but nothing changed and the noise continued. The first night had been just as bad: the DJ stopped at midnight as promised, but the guests kept partying until 3:30 AM. My four-year-old couldn’t fall asleep until 1 AM because of the noise, and management didn’t get the situation under control. A few hours before we arrived, the front desk called to warn us about a “private party” hosted by hotel guests and said the music would stop at midnight. They also mentioned a 200 peso entrance fee, which was baffling and unprofessional for an event supposedly organized by guests. The place felt like a chaotic party house, not a hotel. It had no clear rules to protect guests’ comfort, and staff couldn’t enforce basic expectations. For families or anyone wanting a quiet, restful stay, I’d avoid Siargao Bed and Brew. The whole experience was noisy, unprofessional, and a nightmare.

On the second night, the same group was loud again from 11pm until 3am. I called security to quiet them, but neither the group nor security listened. They had also ignored security deliberately the night before, when a DJ party that was supposed to end at midnight went on until 3am. I had to ask management to shut off the music and remind security to keep guests quiet. The loud, arrogant, uneducated Israelis continued being disrespectful in the breakfast area too, showing no regard for other guests’ peace. I messaged the hotel staff on WhatsApp and FB messenger about the problem. They read my messages but didn’t reply. The next day I raised it with a young, inexperienced female supervisor; she said her manager was in Manila and refused to give me his number. He appeared about 30 minutes later, so he hadn’t been in Manila. I asked for his boss’s number and he refused. I believe security should be fired or management changed as soon as possible. The manager says they promote the place as a party hotel. Running an establishment of about 25 rooms this way seemed unprofessional and totally inexperienced. I was refunded one of my two nights, with a sarcastic smile from Erwin the manager. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep before 3am.
