Everything in central Hinatuan is close enough to walk to, so the locations are all convenient. The downside is the internet only works in the lobby. This feels like a short-stay hotel you could find in any Philippine city or town, and it seems to stay in business because there isn't much competition.

After arriving tired, we found they wouldn't take card payments. We spent an hour walking around looking for cash and couldn't find any, so we went to another hotel where customer convenience had been considered.

The city itself was incredibly charming, and I even made friends while I was there. The room was just the right size for us, and the bathroom floor sat a little lower than the rest of that area, which kept shower water from running out. One of the front desk employees was a wonderful woman, training to be an educator like me. I also loved the air conditioning. Of the three hotels I stayed in on my last trip to the Philippines, it was one of the best, maybe the best. I really enjoyed my stay.

The room itself was unhygienic, and the air conditioner made a lot of noise from a loud motor vibration. We also had nowhere secure to park our four-wheel car, since there's no proper parking lot. Wi-Fi is only offered in the lobby, which was very inconvenient because we couldn't stay there late. I really wouldn't recommend this place to tourists.
