The owners are kind, and the place works well for a night or two. You can walk to the island hopping boats at Honda Bay, though it’s about two and a half kilometers to get a ride. Rooms have air-conditioning and towels, but no soap. Roosters might wake you in the middle of the night. For food, I’d suggest the bamboo bar and restaurant since there aren’t good places to eat nearby. It’s off to the left from the main road, five minutes from the gas station.

There’s a lively community here, with street food appearing after dark, and a huge Japanese temple nearby. The accommodation itself is simple, but the AC worked well and the sheets were clean. It has a rustic look and a pleasant open courtyard, and the staff were welcoming. A fun way to experience Honda Bay. Well worth staying a night or two.

We had a wonderful visit with my kids. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the manager paid attention to what we needed. Kuya Roger, our van driver, was especially friendly and knew the area well. Thank you!

The people here are welcoming 😄. It’s near Honda Bay wharf, but you’ll need to go at least two and a half kilometers to catch a boat if you want to visit the islands.
