Bhive Hotel by RedDoorz

The location was great, and the room was fine with strong WiFi. The shower only had one temperature, neither hot nor cold.

The rooms were clean and well kept, and the aesthetics were nice. Staff were kind and accommodating, though they weren't ready with our room assignments even though we had booked ahead. One room we got was different from the one we originally booked. The restroom had an odd smell, and the cold aircon and accessibility also earned a one star from me. There was no WiFi, and we could hear sounds from other rooms, including what sounded like things falling in the room above. We ordered breakfast in advance, but it arrived after two painful hours. We stayed for two days, and after our Iloilo tour we returned to a room that hadn't been cleaned, even though I'd specifically asked the front desk to make up the room.

Breakfast was just okay, and the shower pressure in the bathroom was weak. There were ants in the room, including in the bed when I checked. Management should arrange pest control. I also reported a stain on the sheet when we arrived, but the receptionist only took a picture and made a note instead of changing the sheets.

The room was spacious and really nice, with a big, clean bathroom. The price is very affordable, and you can have drinks at the bar on the top floor and enjoy the nightlife. I think it's a lovely hotel and would recommend it to my family and friends.
