GT Hotel Jaro

The room was spacious and came with a hot and cold shower, liquid soap, shampoo, tissue, a TV, and an electric kettle with free bottled water, coffee, and sugar. There's a Jaro Mart nearby, along with a 24/7 silogan and lugawan. They don't have a restaurant or canteen, just cup noodles, snacks, and drinks. There was no elevator, and my room, 301, was on the 4th floor. One staff member helped with my luggage, but the receptionist didn't seem to take into account how inconvenient those stairs would be with heavy bags. I also wasn't told that some rooms have windows, though I'd seen them in other photos. My room had none.

There was a lot of dust on the walls, aircon, curtain, and headboard. I also had to kill cockroaches because they kept trying to crawl into people's ears, which felt awful. My neighbor reported insects in the room and a clogged sink and shower, but nothing was done. The staff need more training, and maybe a salary raise too, so they might be happier, more welcoming, and care more about their work.

It's basic, rusty, and could be cleaner, but the price is very good. The woman who checked me in was super unhelpful, although the rest of the staff were nice and accommodating. There's a kettle, but bring your own coffee or tea. And be warned, there is no elevator.

The service was the best part. The staff were very accommodating, and the stay went great. We booked the room for our guest and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was, especially for the price. It's a bit away from the main tourist spots. There's no elevator, so I can imagine the stairs being difficult for someone with a disability or a lot of luggage.
