Relaxing Stay at One Madison Tower

The area felt safe and peaceful, and the building has a modern look. Our unit was clean and well kept, with comfortable beds and good aircon. Having a pool and gym was a nice bonus. Restaurants and malls are close by, which made things convenient. A really nice place to stay in Iloilo for a few days or longer.

We booked this so the grandparents could join us for New Year, but the grandchildren weren’t even allowed to go upstairs and have dinner with their lolo and lola as the holiday approached. They want your money but not your traffic. This will be our first and last stay. If you want family and friends to visit, stay somewhere else.

Noise is a problem for units facing the busy crossing. The building also has structural issues, including severe concrete cracking, paint peeling indoors and outdoors, and low water pressure. Using the pool means getting a ticket from reception every time. Put a piece of clothing on your balcony and a guard will knock on your door. Imagine paying 15M PHP and having people boss you around. Employees follow the rules “because they’re the rules,” without any ability to think critically. At least that isn’t how it is at Palladium nextdoor, FYI. Another Philippine condo-prison.

Madison One is the place to stay in Iloilo City for its location. Festive Mall and lots of quaint, one-of-a-kind cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, and you can walk to the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Arts too. There’s a swimming pool and fitness room, plus 24hr reception and security. The staff are friendly.
