The food is high quality, with foreign dishes at local prices and good ingredients. They bake their own bread too, a proper bakery rather than the Filipino breads I associate with questionable chemicals. Their pizza is easily the best in town. I often tell people Giovanni's has the cheapest authentic pizza around, but I usually head to Haruhay because the pizza is bigger and better. The sub in my photo was 250 pesos and came with hot, freshly roasted bread, a solid deal for the quality. It's outdoors, so the flies can be annoying, though they have plenty of fans. There's also a small German goods section where I like picking up pickled beets and other random things.

My wife ordered the beef burger with potatoes and vegetables, and the meat was rotten. The foul taste was so strong that I can't believe the cook didn't smell it while preparing it. They seemed to try to cover it up by overcooking and seasoning it, then served it anyway. My Haruhay schnitzel was okay, but this was the most foul meat I've ever been served at a place calling itself a restaurant. Zero stars from me.

I really enjoyed the stone-oven dishes and fresh bakery treats, and the pizza is the standout, simply the bomb. The European-style food is done right and every bite exceeded my expectations. I also love coming here every Tuesday at 6:00 PM for the German-speaking Stammtisch. It's a friendly community, the staff are kind, and they always make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Good food, comfortable accommodation, and even better company. Herr Wolf runs a great place, and I always enjoy coming back. It's close to almost everything that matters, so there's no need to head into the city and get stuck in traffic.

The owners are very hospitable, and the place is clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the prices are more than reasonable. Breakfast was amazing and included in the 2000 peso room price. Highly recommend.
