Getting around on foot meant dealing with heavy traffic, dodging motorbikes, motorellas, and cars, and breathing dust and fumes. The Wi-Fi was extremely patchy and often below 100 Kbps, not Mbps, so getting anything done online took ages. The room smelled musty or mouldy whenever we came back, since the bathroom fan couldn't be left on. We appreciated that the host let us check in at 10 am, and the room and bed were OK, but the synthetic sheets made us sweaty. Noise was a big problem too. From 6.30 until past midnight there was a doorbell ringing, the receptionist chatting with guests and on the phone, her kids yelling, and videos playing loudly. At 6.30, we could hear dishes being washed in the outside kitchen through the thin wall, along with loud, almost screaming voices. We also think a water pump kept kicking in now and then. In the morning, furniture seemed to slide across the floor upstairs. Noisy, poor Wi-Fi, and heavy traffic nearby.

I haven't found a better budget hotel in the Philippines, even after more than 2 yrs of traveling around the country and seeing MANY places. The basics are all taken care of here: clean throughout, no marks on the walls or dust on the tables and bed, no mold, bad smell, or cockroaches, and a super clean bathroom. Everything worked well. I wish other hotels would meet these simple standards. Many thanks to the owner and staff, and God bless you. The Philippines needs more caring people like you!

I stayed here 3 years ago when noisy short-term construction at my house kept me from sleeping, and I came back for the same reason during my latest stay. I work nights and needed somewhere to sleep during the day. The rooms are affordable, and I could sleep without distractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the internet was fast enough for my work tasks. I hope the service and amenities stay this way. More power to your business.

For one night before heading to the airport, this was excellent value. There's an excellent Japanese restaurant next door. The beds are a little small, but that was fine for one night.
