The canteen didn’t open early enough for breakfast, even though the rules said it would. That was a real problem with our early schedule. We’d already had trouble with the room: the sheets were untidy, the faucet water had sand in it, and the bathroom was filthy, with a cockroach on the toilet and greasy floors. When we asked the receptionist about moving to another room, they were dismissive and made us feel unreasonable for asking. We left to find somewhere else to stay. I was really unhappy with the cleanliness, service, and basic care for guests.

You can hear people moaning in other rooms. The room itself felt dirty, and the damp sheets made the bed uncomfortable. Not worth it.

The bathroom in my room was nasty, and the cabinets and drawers were dusty enough to make the place uncomfortable. The surroundings looked neglected and very unclean. I also slipped in the corridor because the floor was wet and there was no warning sign. Staff did take action after I reported it. Calls to the lobby and restaurant went unanswered.

There’s ample parking and the place feels secure. It’s spacious, cozy, and works well for events of all sizes, from weddings and receptions to birthdays, debuts, anniversaries, and Thanksgiving. The staff are polished and well trained.

The A/C worked, and they were open late, which is the only reason I’m giving one star. We had to switch rooms right after checking in because of cockroaches, and the rooms were very dirty. The toilet was clogged and the shower was dreadful.
