Midori Clark Hotel and Casino

The room was spacious, but the rest of our stay felt much closer to a 3-star experience than the 5-star standard we expected from this Clark hotel. We were there February 24-25, 2026, and left frustrated rather than relaxed. We arrived after a two-hour drive at 3:19 PM, but our Executive Deluxe King room still wasn’t ready because it was being sanitized. With check-in at 3:00 PM and checkout at 12:00 NN, the three-hour turnover should have been enough. It made us wonder about staffing or other operational problems, which guests shouldn’t have to feel. The entrance was barricaded, with no clear directions from security. The “Entrance” sign was much smaller than the “Drop Off” sign, so we were confused, then told, “Next time po, there’s the entrance.” Clear signage and guidance should be basic at a 5-star property. Accessibility was another serious problem. Of the three PWD parking spaces out front, two were occupied and the third was locked off. We were sent to park farther away, so my child, who is a PWD, had to walk a considerable distance with our luggage. That was disheartening and inconvenient. Breakfast on February 25 was enjoyable, the food was nicely presented, and the staff in black uniforms were warm and attentive. But other service issues continued. At the pool, we were told to bring borrowed towels back there because housekeeping might “misplace” them. Having to carry wet towels back at checkout, especially with a family, was unreasonable and inconvenient. Before leaving, we asked for complimentary water refill and soap. It took two calls and 17 minutes, with staff seeming to pass responsibility around. That lack of coordination was disappointing. Guests paying premium rates deserve better service consistency, organization, and accessibility. The hotel has potential, but needs significant improvements to meet a 5-star standard.
