If you're coming mainly for open-water activities, this place may suit you well. The staff are kind and thoughtful about food preferences, and they make sure you can rest and enjoy your dive. There are things that could be improved, but I don't think the resort is aiming to be a four- or five-star hotel. It has its own way of welcoming guests, which some people might misunderstand.

The dives are the real highlight here. I did four with Rayson after originally planning two, and he was incredible at finding tiny, camouflaged creatures, even a little orange prawn on orange coral. I didn't spot any repeats across our first two dives, and the night dive was special too. In Anilao, where macro life is so small, having a skilled spotter makes a huge difference. Ask for Rayson, or another expert guide, and dive with them. The grounds are pleasant, with nice shared rooms where you can also work, and the staff are great. Food was fine. The guest room felt very bare, though: the toilet and shower weren't separate, and while the bed was large, it wasn't especially good. I'd call it a two-star hotel, and for the price it didn't feel like great value. It could work for an inexpensive family outing.

I spent a week here with my family and really enjoyed the macro dives, especially looking for nudibranchs and taking photos. The staff were caring and very nice. I'd recommend it.

The diving here was incredible. I saw lots of wildlife, and Christian, my guide with casa Bahia, made me very happy with the experience. The place isn't luxurious, and calling it a resort may be a stretch, but for under 100 USD a night I got a clean room, great service, and really tasty meals. They were happy to discuss food allergies and preferences. I had a lovely stay and would recommend it as an affordable place to dive and stay.

Staff were friendly, and the turon we had for merienda was good. We asked for it without added sugar, and it was simple and healthy. The coffee was good too. We paid 7,000 per night for two nights, which felt far too expensive for what we got. Breakfast was processed food, including canned meat and corned beef, and the stay fell short of our expectations. I hope management will rethink the breakfast menu. EU guests might prefer something savory like arroz caldo with fruit over processed food.
