Citadel Inn’s location is hard to beat, right by P. Burgos Street and Makati Avenue, with restaurants and other places to eat all around. There’s activity practically around the clock, from local casual spots to fine dining and pricier tourist places. I gave Makati Citadel Inn five stars for the effort and hospitality, not because it’s a luxury five-star hotel. The front door staff are always welcoming, the guards are polite and attentive, and the person I rented from was especially kind and accommodating. My room was clean, with no smells, a spotless bathroom, and white linen sheets. For the price, it’s a good deal. If you want a friendly welcome in a great Makati location, this is a good choice.

The rooms were good and had a warm, cozy feel. It’s in a handy central spot for bars, food trips, and a night out.

Room 2912 was in awful condition: dirty, smelly, worn out, and falling apart. This went well beyond a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the last guest. It looked like it hadn’t had a proper clean in years. The windows and extractor fans were dirty, tiles were coming off the walls, and sockets had been ripped out. I’ve attached some photos. It makes you wonder how little regard the hotel has for guests to offer a room like this.
